The last report I had written seems like just happened yesterday! How could the time running away so fast? >.< Today is Monday again. Being so free and seeing there was nothing left to do, then I had to proceed to my endless t shirt design again (should I just mentioned the word endless? Coz there's nothing can be ended for learning) T shirt, t shirt and t shirt, my mind was fully stucked by that, seems like its gonna a not so good beginning for the next new idea *sign*. After nearly 4 hours, there was still nothing being squeezed out from my mind -.-" My gosh, it was research (again) and searching for almost the same contents AGAIN! Hopefully it would turns out better after lunch. I realized out that a deviation (artwork from deviantart.com) has a great graphical expression and it suits my t shirt design very much! Well, its time to innovate and modifications. Finally, with the help of that inspiration, I was able to come out with 3 satisfied ideas and there were more I can produce actually. But it was almost 7pm, so I decided to continue the next day.
I proceeded for my uncompleted t shirt development when I came in today. It progressed quite smoothly as I had got a lot of inspirations from that masterpiece! ^^ I had even thought of doing it in a series, such as the five elements (water, fire, air & blah blah). That was quite fun but I had feeling that he(my director) wont easily accept that. So I had made a determination whether he wants to accept or not, I wan to do it in CG and keep them in my portfolio! ^^ The rest of my day was about doing superimpose for Mah Sing showroom (it will last until the proposal get approval) and then the day end!
There were more and more superimpose jobs (seems like I had replaced the word photo montage with superimpose already) came to me today and it was about doing the same things for each pieces (lighting, darken, and logo placing). While working on that job, I did some comic illustration too^^ Hence, I progressed slowly on my superimpose and my friend was urging me to do faster. I had promised myself to upload my illustration by today so no matter how, I got to sacrifice some time for that. After lunch, I was given a task, which was doing signage, wall stickers and...... for AXA Affin. Since there were some sizes and logo I hadn't got them, so I just did the available task and the rest I leave them to the next day! Bad news came in when I received a job (Alcon) last minute of the day and my director told me that was urgently needed by today! Somehow I just able to finished the light boxes and the rest? -.- *sign* After I realize the truth (that the job was only needed by the next day), I was so disappointed with the director -.-
The first thing I thought of when I came in today was the Alcon project. I was quickly went for checking the saizes and get confirmations from production. The most troublesome problem i faced was the file they gave me. I have to channge a rectangular design into a square design with very limited sources (1 image provided actually) -.-. Some more, the image was too big to be used, the computer has insufficient memory to do that! So, I had to switch to use IMAC to solve the problem (luckily my friend wasn't using it!). The job ended by sending output after a few times of amendments were made (relieve). Then I proceeded to do AXA Affin's job. I was told to download some files as they had some new updates for the job. There was 1 correction job I was asked to do (theme park statement). That's all for today.
Yes! Friday again... Today got to proceed on the AXA Affin job. but since I had done what I can do and the salesperson is not in the office to give further instruction, so I do my report 1st! After I consulted with the salesperson, I finished the rest and he handed me another project. It is about cropping and editing food pictures for a restaurant called Good Luck. Since there are 17 images to do and it has to be done by Monday, so I got to do it carefully. Another job I recieved today is bomba backdrops. I was asked to checked whether there was any errors or missing fonts. And then I will get further instruction on this project on Monday.
