Experience review 9

30/11-4/12/09 (week 9)

30/11, Monday, a start for working of this week but the end of this month. *sign* This is the week 9 of my internship and time is really flowing away so fast! My colleagues and I were asked to have a meeting with our director(boss) this morning. As usual, we have to jot down which assignment are we progressing and report to him. I have totally 3 assignments (Cilantro, t-shirt, Axa Affin) on my hand but only 1 (Cilantro) is needed earlier. So, I proceeded to do Cilantro as I had done almost 60% of it. The salesperson was asking for it because the client would like to meet her for this in the afternoon. Finally, I was able to finish it in time but I was told the appointment was posphoned to Wednesday. Well, maybe they want to give me more time to do it even better I guess.

I proceeded to improve my design today since they gave me more time today. After I had done with it, I asked for consultation with the salesperson so that I met the requirements. She pointed out what I had missed out to do for it and some amendment for the layout for the backdrops. I was really tired of doing that because the computer I used to do it is very slow in doing whatever kind of application. I kept myself in an lazy mode because I was really tired of retouching photos and waiting the dump computer to open the files. It was already late of the day while I was still hanging around with fb and deviant. Well, I guess got to continue the next day.

Today I got to somehow finished it and send before the appointment (lunch time). Luckily, I made to do it and I was relieved I could rest finally because the stupid computer is like hell (virus infected!!). Thanks to my director for not installing a proper anti-virus! Since I am not staying for too long, so it is not a big deal for my (lucky... ^^). After that, the proposal of AXA Affin was returned for some amendment and I was told that the logo got a big missing words there (AXA Affin -> AXA) -.- After checking wif the files, I realized that there are two different folders I got, (1 is correct & another is I picked, which is incorrect!). Well, I guess it is too confusing to put the files together, but I know I have the responsibility to check the whole file (sad). Fortunately, it is not a big amendment there and so I could finish it rather fast. Another assignment came in today was a banner design of a company called Vclassmotor (not many design skills required actually). A total of 3 layout was required for proposing and I wonder how much they are paying.

Continue doing the halfly done banner today. There was nothing came in today after I had done the banner. The salesperson was out for appontment(s) and but the client had amendments for the backdrops. So, its time for amendments. After proceeding no longer, I had totally fade up and I couldnt think of anything besides checking mails and browsing wishlists ^^ ( I was actually searching for the 97's digivice and was dying to get 1 for with a cheap price) The non-stop serching was bringing me into the deep of addiction. Gosh... I just couldn't pulled myself from the black hole! Mean while, I was asked to do some amendments for the Comic Corner signage butI was totally out of focus while amending that. Sick.... Another small job was doing types for KDU. But the situation wasn't changed better and the addiction was still there.

Cilantro backdrops again. I was totally moodless in doing that because of the addiction. Concerntrating on the assignment was pointless to me unless I could get my wishlist. But I had to do the assignment no matter what... =( After a while, Vclass banner was asking for amendments (my mood was totally depressed by amendments!!) I was arghh.. (raging, bluring, confusing, mad-ing...) It is just too complicated to describe it. Okay, the rest assignments for that day is KDU amendment. Thats all...
